Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

A gluten-free & turkey-infused twist on a classic!

Lettuce wraps

 1 lb Meridian Free Run Ground Turkey
 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 ¾ cup Yellow Onion, chopped
 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
 1 tbsp Chili Powder
 1 tsp Ground Cumin
 ½ tsp Paprika
 ½ cup Tomato Sauce
 ½ cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
 Romaine Lettuce
 Cheese, shredded (your choice of cheddar, mozarella or another shredded cheese)
 Roma Tomatoes, diced
 1 Red Onion, diced
 1 Avocado, diced
 1 bunch of Cilantro, chopped
 Sour Cream
 Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat

Add onion and saute for 2 minutes

Add turkey and garlic to the skillet

Season turkey with salt and pepper, and cook, tossing and breaking up turkey, until cooked through (about 5 minutes)

Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, tomato sauce and chicken broth

Reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until sauce has reduced

Serve ground turkey mixture in lettuce leaves and top with tomatoes, cheese, onion, avocado, cilantro and sour cream
