Ingredients You'll Need
- 1 1/4 Pound Meridian Free Run Ground Turkey
- 7 oz. Plain Yogurt
- 1 Lemon
- 1/4 Tsp. Minced Garlic
- 6 Sundried Tomatoes, sliced thin
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Ounces Spinach, Chopped Finely
- 1/4 Cup Feta Cheese
- 1 Tsp. Oregano
- 1/2 Tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1/3 Cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Cucumber
- 6 Hamburger Buns
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
Directions
- Make the yogurt sauce by combining yogurt, 1/4 tsp. minced garlic, dill, juice from half of the lemon and salt
- Stir all the above ingredients to combine and then refrigerate to allow the flavours to blend
- Roughly chop the spinach, sun dried tomatoes and 1/4 of the red onion
- In a bowl combine ground turkey with spinach, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, feta, 1/2 tsp. minced garlic, oregano, egg, bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- Stir everything until it is evenly combined. Shape the mixture into 6 patties
- Cook the burgers on a grill, non-stick skillet or open flame
- Spread the yogurt sauce on both sides of a bun, add warm burger and top with thin slices of red onion and cucumber
