Maple Glazed Carrots

Bring out the best flavour from your carrots.

 2 lbs carrots, peeled & cut into pieces
 ½ tsp salt
 ½ tsp pepper
 ¼ cup maple syrup
 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Pour 1 cup of water, salt and carrots in a large skillet. When the water boils, lower heat and cover.

Cook until carrots are tender - about 8-12 minutes.

Remove carrots from boiling water and drain.

Place carrots back into the skillet and add butter, syrup and pepper.

Increase heat to medium and stir constantly for 4-7 minutes.

Glaze carrots while hot.

The recipe says to cook for 8-12 minutes. Then it says to put the carrots back in the skillet. It never says to take them out. Are you suppose to drain them and then add them back?

You are correct! You will remove the carrots and strain them before putting them into the skillet. Thank you for noticing our error, we have changed it now 🙂
