Ingredients You'll Need
- 4 Meridian Free Run Mediterranean Chicken Breasts
- 1 Red Pepper, sliced thinly
- 1/2 Red Onion, sliced thinly
- 4 Pitas
- Feta Cheese, crumbled
- Romaine Lettuce
- 1/2 English Cucumber, peeled & diced
- 2 Cups Plain Greek Yogurt
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1/2 Cup Dill, chopped
- Juice from 1/2 Lemon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
- Combine cucumbers, yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender
- Cover and chill tzatziki sauce until ready to serve
- Cook chicken breasts in a skillet or pan over medium heat
- Heat for 5-6 minutes on each side, until cooked through
- Cut chicken into strips
- Add lettuce, chicken, red pepper and onions on top of each pita
- Top with tzatziki and feta cheese
- Fold pita like a sandwich and enjoy
