A Record-Breaking Fundraiser for Canucks Autism Network
April is Autism Awareness Month, so for the full month we partnered with the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) to raise funds for this very important cause. This year our team, customers, and community all faced unprecedented challenges, but we're extremely pleased to announce that we were able to raise more than $18,000!
Communities Coming Together
In the midst of a global pandemic, social-distancing restrictions, a rapidly changing day-to-day environment, we find ourselves truly in awe of our generous community members. Across the board, from store to store, the funds that we raised this year absolutely crushed previous records and even our original targets. In keeping with tradition, Meridian donated $1 per pound of wings sold and $1 from every CAN krispie treat sold. The results were simply astounding:
Total funds raised from wings: $17,106
Total funds raised from krispie treats: $969
