Help Us Support The Girl Guides of Canada
It's no half-baked idea—things at Meridian just got a little bit sweeter. As of April 9, 2020, we're proud to stock Girl Guide Cookies on behalf of this perennial fundraiser. All of our locations will be offering the classic vanilla and chocolate cookies for a limited time with all funds going directly to the Girl Guides of Canada.
Due to the COVID crisis, the Girl Guides of Canada have suspended all in-person events, and subsequently reached out to local businesses in order to keep their official fundraiser in motion.
As an essential service and a proud supporter of local organizations and fundraisers, Meridian is honoured to be a small part of this worthy cause. All funds raised:
- Help provide diverse and exciting programs and activities
- Allow girls the chance to discover new interests, learn valuable leadership skills and make lasting friendships
- Assist girls and leaders to attend camps and events
- Provide training and support for Guiding leaders
