April is Autism Awareness Month, and every year during the month of April, we raise funds to support the Canucks Autism Network (CAN).
Similar to years past, for every pound of our fresh chicken wings sold throughout the entire month, we donate $1 to CAN. Thanks to all of you, our amazing customers, we were able to raise $5,332.33! We couldn’t have done this without you and we sincerely appreciate all of your support!
In addition to our chicken wings fundraising, we also put on an Autism Awareness Month BBQ at our Maple Ridge location on April 21st! We had a BBQ by donation, a silent auction featuring a hockey stick signed by the entire Vancouver Canucks hockey team, and a Freezer Pack giveaway with entry by donation. On this one day alone, we were able to raise an additional $1,531.30.
That puts our grand total for the month at $6,863.63! One of our most successful years to date! We couldn’t have done it without the amazing and continuous support of our customers in all of our communities.
